We are excited to bring to you M Renee Suaste for our July last Saturday of the month live music.

M Renee Suaste is a Central Texas-raised singer-songwriter whose musical journey began in the small town of Wharton, where she learned guitar at the age of eight. Strongly influenced by artists like Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, and Janis Ian, she later relocated to Austin after college to pursue a fresh start.

Her public music career was launched by a fortunate meeting that led to her 2002 debut at the annual Governor of Texas’ Spring Picnic for then-Governor Rick Perry. Over the years, Renee became a staple of the Austin music scene, performing alongside figures like Benny McArthur of George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band, featuring as a regular act at the Capital 10K Fun Run for five years, and earning the title of Artist of the Month by the Austin Music Foundation in March 2012. Her self-titled debut album was brought to life in collaboration with Maltajo Productions, featuring a prominent lineup of studio musicians assembled in New York City.

Following a brief hiatus, Renee returned to the stage in May 2025, opening for local and touring acts at notable venues like the New World Deli, The Cigar Vault Buda, and The Hole in the Wall. She is currently writing new material, playing live gigs, and focusing on placing her music in radio, television, and film.
